When and where is the OR Business Management Conference?

The 2022 OR Business Management Conference will be held on May 15-18, 2022 with the following schedule: Pre-Conference Workshop on May 15; Conference Sessions on May 16-18, and Exhibition on May 16-17. The Conference will be hosted by the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas. The address is: 23808 Resort Parkway, San Antonio, TX  78261

What is the JW Marriott doing to ensure my safety at the event?

As part of Marriott International’s family of brands, we have implemented a variety of new protocols and elevated practices, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping with our high standards of cleanliness and commitment to providing excellent service. We have also made a few adjustments to the services, amenities, and facilities available during your stay. Is there a virtual option to attend?

This year, the OR Business Management Conference will be held fully in-person with no virtual attendance option

How do I access my CEs after the conference?

Visit our web page on how to earn CEs during the conference and how to print your certificates after the conference is over. If you are having trouble accessing the portal, please contact client services at info@ormanagerconference.com 

Are there discounted hotel and airline rates?

Yes, when you register using our hotel block link you can save on your stay during the conference and stay right by all the action. The deadline to secure a discounted hotel room rate in our block is April 25, 2022. You can also find out more here about airline discount codes with partnering airlines. 

I need help getting travel approval from my manager. Do you have any resources to help?

Yes! Our Employee Justification Guide includes all the benefits of attendance, health and safety information, key topics that will be addressed, and a ready-made letter to send to your manager.

Are there group discounts to attend?

Of course! When 2 – 5 people register together, they will automatically save 10%. If you have a group of 6 or more, reach out to Lindsay Botts at lbotts@accessintel.com for larger discounts! Find out more here.

Why did you make the decision to postpone?

The rise of COVID infections in combination with cold/flu season has put a strain on our healthcare system.  When coupled with staffing shortages, holding the OR Business Management Conference in February put an added and unnecessary strain on those who wanted to attend. Moving the conference to later in the year will allow more OR business leaders to attend.

What if I’m unable to attend during these new dates and am already registered for the conference?

We hope you’ll be able to join us in lovely Hill Country!  Please contact customer service at clientservices@accessintel.com by Wednesday, January 26 if you are unable to attend.
